It's also important to be clear about the reason for your valuation. For example, if your valuation is needed for tax purposes, it will need to be written. If it's for insurance purposes, the estimate will be higher than those for valuation needed for estate sales, family divisions or for gifts because the replacement value of an object (its retail value) is often higher than its fair market value.

The valuation is only our expert's opinion as to the value of an object. Please note that the actual selling price at auction could be higher or lower than the appraisal price.
